In Our Own Words: A Guidebook for Surviving Deaths Related to Substance Use, Addiction, or Overdose
Grief is an ugly beast. Death connected to substance use, addiction, or overdose brings specific messy considerations and complications. Who better to share that story than you and I who intimately know the pain and grief associated with this type of loss?
This book is designed to give you a place and space to hold and share your love and pain for your lost loved ones. It is designed to be a guide not only for those who come after us in this terrible type of loss but also for those who have come before us and have never confronted their loved one's loss whether that be because of stigma, shame, not having the resources, not having a like-minded community, etc.
